Tea Bag Blossom by Samantha Read

Hello! I've been seeing tea bags being used in art for a little while now so thought I would have a go I even got my needle and thread out!

What I did:

I found someone to drink two cups of tea lol and I kept their tea bags, the round teabag was unused so I dyed it pink in some Distress Reinker over night. I used some metallic thread to sew them together.

For a little texture I applied some paste through a stencil. I then stamped some stars, added glitter and simply stamped, coloured and adhered in place the flower, text, cloud and bird.

What I used:

That's Crafty! Sand Texture Paste
AALL and Create - Quirky Birds Stamp Set
Tim Holtz Distress Reinker - Picked Raspberry
AALL and Create - Stencil #27
Prima Watercolours - Tropical
Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue - Crystal
