Some Bunny Love by Fliss Goodwin
11:00
Hi
there, it’s Fliss here today with a little inspiration for our current Keep It
Simple challenge over at That’s Crafty! Challenge Blog. I’ve made a simple card
with Donna’s gorgeous bunny for Rubber Dance because my hubby and I had an
anniversary recently and he doesn’t like fussy cards.
Ingredients:
Red
Card
Heart
Shaped Die and Die Cutting Equipment
Marker
Pens – I used Promarkers
White
Square Card Blank
Recipe:
Stamp
the bunny and a couple of the large carrot on white stamping card and colour
with markers. I was actually aiming for grey like our 2 Netherland Dwarf
bunnies but the Promarkers I used, although grey, came out more brown than I
was expecting.
I
then die cut a heart shape from a scrap of red card and glued this on to my
card blank. I cut out the rabbit and carrots, leaving a narrow white border and
extending the rabbit’s lines down a little to make a rounded shape. Our bunnies
are a bit like fluff balls!
I
stamped the bunny love text at the bottom of the card blank and then added the
rabbit and carrots with foam tape for dimension.
A
very simple card and my hubby loved it!
Have
a great weekend and see you next week.
