Sparkle in the Rain by Alison Hall
00:00
Hello Everyone! I have a bright and colourful
stencilled postcard to share with you today, featuring the lovely Visible Image
Brolly Lady.
Here's what I used...
Visible Image Clear Stamp Sets - Background Noise,
Sparkle in the Rain
That's Crafty! Dinky Stencils - Teardrop Ovals,
Bubbly All Over, Chevrons Background, Raindrops Background, Abstract Stones
Background
Dina Wakley Media Heavy Body Acrylic Paint -
Cheddar, Fuchsia, Ocean, Gilt, Black
Stencil Brush
Fan Paintbrush
Here's what I did...
1. Using the Abstract Stones, Chevrons Background,
and Bubbly All Over Dinky Stencils with the cheddar, Fuchsia & Ocean
paints, I stencilled a background all over the postcard. I stencilled the
Teardrop Ovals using the Fresh Lime paint, and finished off by stencilling some
Raindrops Background with the Gilt paint.
2. Using the Archival Jet Black Ink, I used the Visible Image Background Noise Stamp Set to stamp a background.
3. I stamped the Brolly Lady and phrase from
Sparkle in the Rain with Onyx Versafine Ink, then clear embossed the images.
4. To finish, I used the ink blending foam tool to
ink the edges of the postcard with Jet Black Archival Ink, then added a dotty
splatter all over, with the fan brush and some watered down black paint.
Happy crafting,
Alison x

Love that zingy background Alison and the bright colours offset the silhouette beautifully.
