New Katzelkraft Stamps Arrive at That’s Crafty! by Amanda Southern
00:00
I’m here this Tuesday with a simple card for you using some
of the newly released Katzelkraft stamps that have just arrived at That’s
Crafty!
Here’s what I did:-
Using a
piece of mixed media card, because it takes lots of water, I first stamped the
Katzelkraft village stamp. I then masked of the village using masking gum, I
also flicked some masking gum onto the page. When the gum was totally dry I
sprinkled on black Infusions and spritzed with water. When that was totally dry
I rubbed off the masking gum including the splashes. You can see the splashes
as I have coloured them yellow so they look like stars. I then coloured the
village, all the glass in the windows are painted with yellow as that’s the
house where a fabulous party is taking place. The Elephant and the balloons
have been stamped onto a separate piece and coloured using coloured pencils and
then cut out. I tied a thick cotton around the balloons and then around his
trunk.
How fab is this guy?
I then
matted onto black card and added to a card blank. I think he has had a good
time at the party, what do you think? I think we can all remember a night (or
two) like that!!
What I Used:-
Katzelkraft Stamps – Village & Les Jungles
Tim Holtz Stamps – Crazy Things (balloons)
Dylusions Stamps – Say What You Mean
Card Blank
The Katzelkraft Les Jungles has some fabulous other animal
characters on it and well worth checking out, I can’t wait to ink up some of
the other guys so watch this space!!
See you next Tuesday
