Follow Your Dreams by Anne Redfern

11:00

Hello Everyone

My Guest project this week is a bright, colourful tag, inspired by the lovely Spring weather we are experiencing at the moment.
I used a That's Crafty MDF tag and a stamp set by Tracy Evans for AALL & Create.
I lined up the items I wanted to use, including a piece of ripped watercolour paper from my stash.
After smooshing one colour at a time on my craft mat, I spritzed and dragged the card through the Twisted Citron first, dried it and then did the same with the Blueprint Sketch.  I didn't want to waste the leftover ink on my mat and so I used it, in both colours, to flick over the card.
Next, I attached the card to the tag and then stamped onto the card and stamped the flower again, three times.  I fussy cut and then coloured each of the extra flower pieces.
Now it was time to assemble the tag.  I layered up the flower, and added a glass bead to the centre.  I stamped again, coloured and cut out the words 'Follow your Dreams, Create, Dream and Inspire' onto the leftover coloured cardstock, and added these to the tag along with some vintage seam binding (a recent gift from a dear friend), coloured it in the same colours and added it to the tag.

Products Used:

Watercolour Cardstock scrap (from my stash)
Vintage Seam Binding (a gift)
Glass Bead (from my stash)

Thanks so much for your visit, I'll see you again next week!

Crafty wishes,  Anne xx
