Welcome to my Thursday weekly post.
Today I am sharing my first 6x6 Art panel of 2019 - I'm sure there will be plenty more throughout the year as its something I enjoy creating. For this one I have chosen to work with a monochrome palette of just 3 colours - black, blue and white!
That's Crafty! Surfaces are ideal for this kind of creation so I have used a white/greyboard 6x6 square as my base and covered it with a piece of canvas paper.
I then applied That's Crafty! Texture Paste through my chosen StencilGirl®/Seth Apter stencil and left to air dry.

Once dry I applied PaperArtsy 'Midnight' Fresco Finish paint all over the stencilled panel and then used a wet wipe to remove some of the paint from the stenciled words.
To darken the edges I applied black acrylic paint using my fingers.
The focal feature sits on a rectangle of textured wallpaper which I had saved after using it for monoprinting
and the feature itself is as always with me the sum of a few parts -
a couple of Seth Apter die cuts treated with either crackle paint or paint,
a Seth Apter Wood chip treated with crackle paste and hex nuts to embellish.
