For my latest Guest designer post this week, I created a chunky ATC, using one of That's Crafty! Surfaces - MDF Chunkies - ATC.
These MDF ATC Chunkies are ideal for creating quick little works of art, they are the size of an ATC but they are about 1" deep, and when they are made up they are freestanding.
I gathered together all the items I wanted to use (they are listed in detail below).
Instructions:
I constructed the MDF chunky and painted it black, giving it two thin coats of paint.
I cut watercolour cardstock to fit all the sides of the chunky.
The images were stamped onto the front, back and sides of the chunky, using Archival ink (you can use other waterproof ink). I gave each piece a coat of watercolour paint. I then stamped the images again onto watercolour cardstock, coloured them with watercolour paint and fussy cut all of the images. I finished the edges of each piece with a black marker and attached these to the Chunkie and then attached the fussy cut flower elements.
I stamped the sentiments, edged in black and attached one to the front and back.
Finally I attached the 'feet' to the Chunkie (beads from my stash which I painted black).
A final view of the front and back of the Chunkie.
Products Used:
Black Marker Pen
Beads from my stash
Thanks so much for your visit, I hope to see you again next Monday

Very cool! I love the blue sky (hope we get some of that in real life soon) and the clever dimensional layering of the flower heads. A fab chunky ATC.
