Dylan in the Limelight by Tracey Fairgrieve

11:00

Hello Creative Friends,

It's time to share another That's Crafty! Creation, this week using New Stencils.
Onto an A4 Journal Page I traced through the 8x8 Dylan Stencil with pencil sketching
out some of the finer details and added an upper torso to fill in some of the page.

Adding watetcolour pencil activating with water I let each application dry
before building up more colour layers repeating the process until happy.

I used the new Circle Line Stencil to fill in the background space. Drawing through the
stencil with the watercolour pencils this time activating by dabbing over with a wet sponge.
I repeated this process until all the background space way full.

When dry I highlighted around the background image with both a black and white pen.

I was planning on adding stamps and wording to the background
but I quite liked the balance of the 3D effect alongside the stencilled portrait
so decided to leave it just as.. well for now anyway...!

I hope you like it..?

Thank you for sharing your time,
I look forward to sharing more of mine with you all very soon.

Wishing you much creativity
and a great week ahead.

Hugs
Tracey xx
