Sing In The Rain by Lynne Moncrieff
11:00
Hello,
This week I am sharing a tag which is a page from a larger project.
Supplies
PaperArtsy Eclectica Stamp Sets - Lin Brown ELB31, ELB34
Ranger
Manilla Tag #10
PaperArtsy Infusions (various)
Extras:-
Bodhi Leaf, Found Papers, Mop-Up Papers, Old Button, Cotton Sewing Thread, Silk
Sari Ribbon
Instructions
Apply
Gesso to tag and once dry, randomly apply Grunge Paste. Follow this with Infusions, sprinkling 2 to 3
colours, misting generously with water. Allow colour to drip downwards, catching excess colour with various
papers and textiles. All to dry.
Stamp
Lin Brown sentiment and textural elements onto stained found papers. Layer the stamped elements onto the stained
tag, also layering pieces of stained found papers including torn corrugated
cardboard. Embellish with old button,
allowing thread to trail.
Onto
bottom edge stamp Leaf Prints – the stamping is irregular because I applied
Grunge Paste here. Continue adding more
stamped texture to the tag, with Lin Brown stamps.
As I
said, this tag is part of a larger project but sari silk ribbon, stained with
Infusions, could be threaded through the tag’s hole, to complete the project.
Until
next time,
Wishes
Lynne

Love the delicate the look of the skeleton leaf and the rough texture of the corrugated cardboard strip. Nice touch with the white paint on this piece. The blue material bits really tie in well with the infusion blue you have used. Very lovely, Lynne. Thanks f I r s h a ring. Cheers! Sharon xx
