Christmas Comes Early Again..! by Tracey Fairgrieve

It's Monday again, hope your weekend
has been a good one?
As usual it's my turn to share some
more That's Crafty! Creativity and there's no better way to do it than
share some of the brand new products that were showcased on Hochanda last
Friday now available to purchase in the That's Crafty! online Store.
Today i'm sharing a Christmas Card made
with detachable baubles.. I know I know it's only August but it's right on
target for many crafters but this could quite easily be made all year round
with the popularity of hanging decorations with inspirational words of wisdom.
Here's those quick and easy *How to
do's*
I started by sponging on Gold and
Copper That's Crafty! Multi Surface Paint to create a background. The colour
this creates is magnificent and the creaminess of the paints I have not seen
anything else like this on the market before.
Using the Poinsettia Tree Stencil I
used silver Multi Surface paint to stencil through some stars. Holes were
punched into the card for the baubles to be attached later.
Using the Baubles Stencil I pushed
clear paste through one of the designs onto two MDF That's Crafty! Baubles that
I had previously painted with Black Gesso. When dry I delicately dry brushed Copper and Gold Multi Surface Paint aver the baubles to bring out the texture
created from the stencil.
The Happy Christmas sentiment from the
Christmas Collection Stamp Set 2 has been stamped and heat embossed with gold
embossing powder and highlighted with black Posca pen. Gold string has been
attached to the baubles and they are ready to be threaded through the card.
My Bauble Christmas Card is now
complete. The Baubles are detachable and ready to hang on the tree. A great way
to give a gift and card all in one.
Thank you for sharing your time and I
hope you will enjoy the new That's Crafty! goodies as much as we the Design Team
have. Until next Monday... Take Care and please do check out more crafty makes from the DT throughout the week.
