Well December is here
and before we know it Christmas will be
right on our
doorsteps are you beginning to get excited??
I'm sharing a
Christmas Tag Card I actually made way back in August for a That's Crafty! sample
on Hochanda. I used this as a prototype for a Christmas Card that you may have
seen but I thought this was worth sharing as it has never been seen on the
blogging scene.
Here in words and
pictures is my All stand for Christmas Tag Card.
Stamping out the
house and trees designed by Donna Gray I proceeded to sew on strips of lace,
fibres, loose threads and heated Tyvek painted in pearl paint to imitate
snowfall.
Colouring the scene
in pencil I repeat stamped the image, coloured in a
similar way then cut each segment out layering up the scene.
An off cut of the
Poinsettia Tree Stencil that I had pushed modelling paste through was glued
onto a #8 Size tag and painted in pearl paint. The house and sewn on elements
was then glued down on top. Clamping them down until they were glued down
firmly.
Small greyboard
snowflakes painted in Antique Silver embellish the sky
along with dots and
dabs of white Enamel Accents on the trees and roof top.
The addition of
silver micro beads embellish the snowfall and a greyboard
Happy Christmas
sentiment painted in Antique Silver marks the season.
To make the tag stand
I simply folded a piece of card and
glued it onto the back
of the tag to keep it upright.
My All Stand for
Christmas Tag Card is complete.
