Sharing a card this week.

Supplies

Idea-ology:- Tissue Tape, Muse Token
Vintage Pen Nibs
Jump Rings and Chain (substitute with Idea-ology)
Recycled packaging, Vintage receipt (substitute with your favoured stamping surface or substrate), wooden frame

Instructions

Stamp doll onto recycled packaging. Ink up again and this time stamp onto vintage receipt and scraps of the re-cycled packaging. Fussy cut, ink edges then have fun layering. The pen nib element of the stamp was stamped twice to form hands and arms for her. Pierce a hole in one of the pen nibs and attach Muse Token with jump ring and chain.

Other details are the vintage pen nibs in her hat, a jump ring layered over one eye and then filled with Liquid Glass and wooden frame which had been coloured with Distress Stain Spray before being layered onto the body.

Randomly stamp Messy Writing onto background, also stamping onto Tissue Tape and scraps of the vintage receipt paper. Adhere fragments to the background.

Until next time,

Lynne

  8. You fooled me Lynne , I really thought her pen nip arms were real, until you wrote about stamping them :-) The Liquid Glass into the ring ,over her eye, is a wonderful idea, too, and love the old pen nips in her hat .
She is a sweet and beautiful girl, maybe quirky but good at heart , lol- and wonderfully thought.

  13. Let me try that again! LOL I posted in the middle of my comment and it really looked weird!! I love this art doll! The CC image has such a lovely, studious face. She is perfect for the idea of pens/inks/nibs. Great idea with those vintage nibs adorning her hat. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us, Lynne! inkybru xx
