Adventure Begins by Donna Gray

Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today with a card featuring a set of the new PaperArtsy stamps.
What To Do:
Take
a sheet of mixed media paper, cut to the size required and spritz with a
Distress Stain (Fossilized Amber), dry thoroughly.
Next
take a leafy Dina Wakley stencil and spritz another Distress Stain through it
(Peeled Paint). This stencil is brilliant as it has the option of using both
the mask and stencil parts, for this background just use the stencil.
Now
start stamping using black Archival ink for everything except the circles for
which use Watering Can Archival ink.
Colour
in the facial part of the stamp using Distress Markers, dilute with a water
brush.
Spritz
a little DecoArt Media Mister (red) over the piece, go carefully as you don’t
want to cover it!
Add
a little ephemera to the side of the card.…you can get out your sewing machine
for this or do faux stitching with a fine liner pen for a similar effect.
Add
a touch of stickles to the ‘neckline’ of the stamp, mount onto black card and
then white cardstock.
These
set of stamps are really versatile, the circle stamp will no doubt be used
again and again ;)
Supplies Used:
White Cardstock
Hope
you like it

It's amazing that you can get so much depth and dimension on a card, but you have done it! Love the color palette you have chosen and that bit of stitching pops! You are a very talented lady, my friend!

I like this Donna. It makes me think that she has taken the ticket and is off to explore each one of the circles. So neat that her top looks like a circle too makes me think that she chose it just for the exploration adventure - circle to circle! Crazy I know but it just totally makes sense to me!!!! j.
