August gone and maybe therefore I reached for this beautiful
more autumn like sprays when creating this, there is a little cold in the air
and tones.
I started with one of my favorite panels 6x6 inch, stenciling the Pillows
stencil using Texture Paste and while waiting for it to be dry, I stamped
both Ingrids and Melinas beautiful flower stamps onto a piece of white fabric.
They were fussy cut and then sprayed with red Lustre Spray, mixed with
Aubergine Lustre.
The panel now dry was painted with the Multi Surface Mint,
and around the edge - Multi Surface Gold was painted on top.
Leaves from greyboard acorn and leaves, were sprayed with diluted Chestnut Brown and then partly painted also with the Gold. Details made with a black Sharpie.
Pieces of old lace were painted with the same sprays as the flowers and a piece of
ordinary paper too. Lynne`s Affirmation were stamped on the paper and cut into 3
pieces, which were adhered on top of the lace.
The panel was sprayed in spots, with the diluted Brown on top of the Gold, flowers, leaves and
Affirmation were all adhered to panel and then sprayed several times over with the
Lilac Lustre spray, giving an amazing result, when catching the light,
which you can see below.
Golden dots were added to the flowers and a piece of sari ribbon for hanging, put through holes
made with a Crop A Dile.
