I seem to be enjoying the theme of nature at the
moment. This week a panel featuring a PaperArtsy Hotpicks
poppy alongside one of my all time favourite Dinky Stencils.
Supplies
PaperArtsy HotPicks HP1505
That’s Crafty! Surfaces White/Greyboard Panel
(cut to required size)
Distress Crayon Pack #3 (Antique Linen)
DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Quinacridone Gold, Red
Iron Oxide (Transparent)
Extras:- Dried poppy pod, deli wrap paper, muslin
Instructions
Cut white/greyboard to required size then apply
patches of Grunge Paste and in other areas, apply the Grunge Paste to the brick
Dinky Stencil. Plan placement of stamp
before applying the Grunge Paste. Once
dry, scribble the Antique Linen Distress Crayon, misting with water and
blending into the panel then continue to apply the paints, again, misting with
water to allow the paints to blend.
Also apply the paints to muslin scrap and Deli wrap.
Stamp poppy onto panel followed by stamping script
(HP1505). Mist panel with Ground Espresso. Stamp script and the stamp from Rust and Dust onto the deli paper. Tear.
Adhere to bottom edge, finishing the panel with a dried poppy pod and
the stained muslin.
