It's time for another
That's Crafty! make from me using some of the fabulous products available. Today
i'm sharing a quick and simple make using the fabulous Sparkler Sprays.
My creative time has
been very limited lately but recently I needed a card for someone special who
needed a hug but live too far away to receive a real one.
This is my Thinking
of YOU.. Card.
On to a piece of
350gsm Slate coloured card I spritzed with Gold, Blue and Red Sparklers Sprays
allowing it to puddle and dry without force.
I stamped the Rubber
Dance Fly Fly Flowers designed by Melina Dahl
on top and heat
embossed with white embossing powder.
Cut to size and
machine stitched I glued onto a 5 x 7 card and
added Ranger Stickles
glitter glue sparingly.

A very quick but
effective card with a touch of cosmic

It´s
Melina here, and today I want to share 2 tags with you.
I
started by applying red, yellow and blue Distress Oxides to my tags. By
blending these three colours you get the orange and the green too. I then
activated the Oxides with Sparklers spray through different That´s Crafty! 8x8”
stencils.
For the
next layer I stamped with the script stamp from Textures Stamp Set 1, using
the same Distress Oxide colours. I also added a few splashes of black gesso on
my tags.
I
painted turquoise, yellow and red shimmer paints on a piece of watercolour
paper. I then stamped the butterflies with clear embossing ink and heat
embossed with white powder. The shimmer on those butterflies is fantastic!
I
stamped the “Fly-Fly-Flowers” on one of the tags with black ink, using my Tim
Holtz Stamping Platform. I also stamped the butterflies once more on the same
piece of painted paper as before. I cut them out and glued them down on my tag.
I glued
my shiny butterflies to the other tag and at last stamped the sentiments on my
tags using Lynne's Affirmations Set 2.
I used:

Hello every one I hope your weekend has
been a creative one?
I've been playing again this time with
the new Sparkler Sprays new to the That's Crafty! range and as it's Monday i'd
like to share my make with you all..
Here in words and pictures is my Art on
my Heart..
Using Tim Holtz Distress Oxides I
matched colours to the Sparkler Sprays, smooshed the Oxides onto a craft mat
and activated using the Sprays. I then mopped up the colours using a That's
Crafty! Large Greyboard Heart pushing heavy body gel diagonally through the Random Stones stencil. I then gave the gel a light squirt with the Sparklers sprays.
As you may see the Sparklers spray sits
on top but when heated gently with a heat tool the gel seems to absorb and
encapsulate the colour. It also changes the shape of the stencilled image
distorting it.. a magnificent effect but be careful not to over cook it.
I used Green, Pink and Blue Shimmer
paint to build up colour over the whole heart and wiped back using a wet wipe
areas of texture I wanted to expose. I repeated this process until I was happy
with the colour.

Set 1 the word ART has been stamped and embossed onto the heart as well as the
words Don't be afraid which have been masked off to stamp along side each
other. Gilding wax has been used along the hearts edge and to define the
central texture.
A hand punched hole and some colourful
twine has turned my Heart into a hanging one. My Hanging Heart is complete.
