Hello
This week, I returned to an older PaperArtsy Lynne Perrella stamp set, to work with one of the stamps, repeating and layering the same image, a captivating face, pairing it with another PaperArty stamp set from the Eclectica EAB, the words seemed to echo the look on the face stamp.

Instructions

Although this is on a That's Crafty! MDF panel, it begins life on watercolour/cotton rag paper.  Beginning by laying down a randomly applied layer of white Gesso.

There are no stepped out photos for this project but after applying the Gesso, only waiting for it to be partially dry before applying PaperArtsy paints with my fingers and also a palette knife, almost scraping on and then scraping off the paint, pulling the Gesso into the paint. Then time to apply the Flat Matte Sprays, focusing the spray towards the centre of the panel.

The faces were stamped onto book page, first painted with Gesso before applying Infusions The Sage, blending with the Gesso.

The face was inked up three times, tearing away smaller elements from the stamped image, altering the configuration of some of the images, the face on the far left (above), layered with stamped piece torn down the middle. The faces were machine stitched to the background paper.

To this, marks were added by stamping Mark Making stamps and although not seen here, adding touches of Pearl Ink in Antique Gold and Bronze. The Antique Gold Pearl Ink was also added to the faces, such as the cheek area or borders.

The PaperArtsy EAB quote was stamped onto scrap paper, adhering to the panel, doodling with black fineliner pen.

The Antique Gold Pearl Ink was also applied to the background, dipping my finger into the Pearl Ink, blending into the paper.
