House Sweet House by Tracey Fairgrieve

Happy Thursday Creative Friends..!
Today I share another make using newly released stamps from That's Crafty!
this time creating with The Houses Collection designed by Melina Dahl.
Dragging and scraping Multi Surface Paint over the surface of an 8 x 8" MDF Chunkie
I pushed 3D Gel Gloss Medium through a *Coming Soon* Stencil.
Highlighting the raised stencil area with dabs of Silver and Gold Multi Surface Metallics.
Three of the houses were stamped and embossed onto the co-ordinating white/greyboard surfaces
and painted using watered down Multi Surface Paints.
Dragging colour on to a label plate included in the white/greyboard House surfaces
I stamped and embossed a sentiment, one of two included in the stamp set.
Dots and dashes in pen was added to the stencil design to bring areas out.
Layered up onto the Chunkie using foam pads my scene is complete and ready to display.
*Please note where the hanging hole is when putting your design together
unlike me who forgot completely.. Oh well I'm sure it will look fine as a standing display!!*
There is something so warming about a house stamp
that always gives me that feeling of coming Home..!!

Oh dear Tracey, this panel is so gorgeous, both your amazing background, and the houses, which you painted perfectly.
ReplyDeleteStunning with the moon shining onto everything, giving it all golden and silvery glimpses , of light ,-and the fantastic colors you have used . I am totally in love with the houses, and you making them almost live, with your painter hand !!
What a lovely village to live in, Tracey :-)
Biggest warm hugs from Dorthe xx
Thank you so much Dorthe MDF is my favourite surface to work with the multi surface paints at the moment, so many gorgeous colours to work with. Melina's wonderful house stamps and surfaces seemed to be the perfect fit for the chunkie xx

ReplyDeleteTracey, I just love the gorgeous and very striking background you created for the beautiful little houses, the moon is quite stunning and the touches of silver on the stencilling gives a lovely subtle glow! Good point about the hanging hole too but I think it looks fabulous as a standing display. Anne xxx
