Make A Wish by Lynne Moncrieff
11:00
This
card was made for a friend’s birthday, knowing she liked Character
Constructions stamps.
I
intentionally kept the design simple as I wanted the focus to be on the
beautiful vintage French paper and the stamped focal. At first viewing you might not realise that
this image comprises several individual stamps.
The
complete Character Constructions stamp catalogues can be viewed at http://www.characterconstructions.com/. If you have any questions regarding
availability of Character Constructions stamps, then please contact Laura
directly or myself via my Blog and I can contact Laura on your behalf.
Supplies
Character Constructions Stamp Sets - Blue Daisy No. 7 (woman and hat) – I also used stamps from other Blue Daisy
sets:- No. 2 (flower on stem and flower head).
No. 6 (arms)
Glue
Stick (UHU or Tombow)
Double
Sided Tape
Extras: Vintage Paper, Fabric, Lace
Instructions
Card
Adhere
vintage French paper to cardbase. Stamp
woman. Trim waist with fabric scrap.
Onto scrap pieces of vintage paper, stamp hat, arm and flower. Fussy
cut. Adhere hat to woman’s head. Cut upper arm to make a suitable length. Apply adhesive only to upper end of arm.
Adhere to main image. Slightly bend the
arm and hand before adhering the flower to her hand.
Stamp
Affirmation onto scrap paper. Only Make
A Wish from the Affirmation is required.
Layer to lace and fabric scraps below stamped focal.
Onto
another piece of scrap paper, stamp flower three times. Cut into flag shape. Attach fabric scraps before adhering to upper
corner.
Insert
I
thought I would also share the insert and envelope detail. I had already written my birthday message to
my friend which is why I have obscured some of the insert and envelope.
Tear
paper to required size. Stamp ELB
sentiment onto paper. Adhere top edge to inside cardbase with double sided
tape.
Envelope
Onto
two tiny scraps of paper, stamp flower and onto other piece, ink up “wish” only
from Affirmation stamp. Adhere to upper corner of envelope with fabric scraps.
Until
next time,
Wishes
Lynne
