1)  Take a piece of kraft card to make a base card.

2)  Take a piece of white card and colour with Distress Oxide ink, placing some ink on your craft mat, adding a little water and smooshing the card through the ink.  Once dry, ink around the edge of the card in the same colour Distress Oxide ink.

3)  Cut a piece of book page (in this case a dictionary page that happened to have the definition of 'bug').  I backed the page with card because I was going to wet it.

4)  Using Distress Oxide, use the same process as in 2) above.  Dry thoroughly.

5)  Line up the layers, glue in the middle (but not the edges as the glue may stick to your sewing machine needle) and stitch around the edge.  Don't be too careful with your stitching, it is meant to look a bit wonky.

6)  Stamp the bugs onto white card, colour them with Distress Ink or medium of you choice and fussy cut the bugs (or if you are lucky enough to have the die, use that to cut out the images).

7)  Add some gloss, if desired to the bodies of the bugs  (fly and ladybird in my case - I left the moth as it was, as their bodies tend to be a bit 'furry').

8)  Add your chosen sentiment.
