This is
my final D.T. for the year 2017, I’m convinced this year has passed quicker
than any before.
I
decided to share a winter themed project for this week, featuring one of the
greyboard snowflakes.
Supplies
That’s Crafty! Multi-Surface Paints Ice Blue, Antique Gold, Antique Silver
Extras:
Scrap Found Paper, Scraps of Vintage Lace, Tulle, Re-cycled Silk Sari Ribbon,
Gem, Glass Glitter, Willow Circle
Instructions
Randomly
apply Gesso, with foam brush, to willow circle then, applying with fingertips,
Antique Gold and Antique Silver, focusing around edge.
Apply
Ice Blue and Antique Silver to a snowflake. While the paint is wet, sprinkle on glass glitter, leave to dry before
adhering gem to centre.
Stamp
quote onto found paper which has been randomly painted with Gesso, edge with
glass glitter.
Before
layering this piece to willow circle, gently create folds in the paper. Layer
to willow circle with scraps of vintage lace and tulle. Adhere snowflake to
upper corner, trapping two pieces of re-cycled silk sari ribbon behind the
snowflake, giving the impression of movement.
Final
touches of more glass glitter to edge of willow circle.
A hole
could be drilled at the top, allowing to be suspended from wire/thread or the
ornament could be propped onto a craft style easel.
This is
my final project for 2017, a year which has passed by too quickly. If you
are celebrating the festivities, then I hope it is a time which is kind to you
and yours.
Thank
You for all the lovely comments and support this past year, it is greatly
appreciated by me.
Wishes
Lynne
