Hi everyone, Nikki
here with another project featuring the new TC products launched on Hochanda a
couple of weeks ago. I love all the greyboard embellishments – so versatile,
easy to paint and perfect for embellishing projects large and small.
This design is a 6x6
inch white/greyboard panel. As I have been doing as a base for the new
shimmer paints I started with a layer of PaperArtsy Fresco Paint – chalk
colour. I then sponged primarily That’s Crafty! Orange Shimmer paint with a
little red around the edges. I stamped the crackles from the TC Texture stamp
set and finally lightly sponged a little white to create a worn look.
The embellishments
were done in a similar way with TC Shimmer Paints and
white chalk paint:

Feather – Red and
Copper
Wildflower – Red
Funky Flower,
Butterfly, Dragonfly – Blue, Aquamarine and Copper
I added a little
paint to a scrap of paper and stamped ‘Moments’ from one of the quotes off the
TC quotes stamp set.
Hopefully you can see
from the close up the wonderful texture you can achieve by sponging on the
paints.
