there, I have another of the ATCs I made for the last Hochanda shows to share
this week as I found myself in need of a little encouragement this week having
finished my current job and I’m starting a new one next week so I’m feeling
rather nervous at the moment. My ATC is a sort of note to self!
Ingredients:
That’s Crafty! Dinky Stencils – Circles Background, Harlequin Background
Recipe:
Paint
the ATC using the red paint, adding a second coat if necessary. Use the
stencils with the black and white paints to apply a pattern in diagonally
opposite corners using the 2 stencils.
Stamp
the bird on white card with the black ink – you could go for a 3D look if you
like and if so you’ll need to stamp the bird twice. Colour with markers or
pencils and cut the bird out with the matching die.
Swipe
a little gesso over the background with a dry sponge to tone the colour down a
little and then run black paint around the edges to pull the background
together.
Glue
the bird to the background and add your chosen text underneath.
