Baby Wipes
Extras:- Muslin, button, cotton cord, tree bark, vintage French book text, re-cycled
packing paper, stained lace and resin paper (*another time I will focus on
resin paper as here I only included scraps)
Instructions
Cut
panel to required size before applying paints with a baby wipe, aiming for a
textured appearance.
My tub
of Grunge Paste had gone a little bit gungy due to the lid not being properly
closed (I know, naughty me!!!) however I liked the effect because the result is
very textural which I really like. Does
this mean I need to always be careless with my tub of Grunge Paste?!! Apply the Grunge Paste to the Dinky Stencil,
leaving to dry.
Apply
paints (excluding Toffee) to vintage book text. Once dry, stamp butterfly. Ink
edges and slightly curl them upwards. Continue stamping, this time one of the Rust and Dust stamps and
sentiment onto re-cycled brown packing paper.
Gather
items - I tend to incorporate pieces of this and that left over from previous
projects. For this collage I
incorporated:- tea stained lace, the tree bark which I had misted with Antique
Linen, scraps of resin paper and muslin stained with dissolved walnut ink
crystals.
Adhere
all to panel, including button, with Gel Medium.
