I seem to be drawn to setting flowers, birds or
butterflies against a scene of rusted dereliction.
The Abstract Stone Dinky Stencil, a favourite when it
comes to working with nature themed stamps, helped to bring texture to this
panel.
Supplies
PaperArtsy Infusions:- Black Knight, Golden Sands, The
Sage, Lemoncello
Old Credit Card
Instructions
Apply Grunge Paste to stencil, randomly onto panel. Once
dry apply Infusions, generously misting with water. Apply Gesso with old credit
card, while Infusions are still wet, heat set, then apply patches of the Rust
paint. Heat set before applying more Infusions and Gesso. It’s just a matter of
some playtime, building up layers.
Stamp various JOFY flowers and leaves onto the panel,
highlighting with Infusions (mainly The
Sage and Lemoncello) and white paint pen. Stamp JOFY texture stamp randomly
onto panel.
Onto scrap white cardstock apply Infusions (I use any
leftover Infusions on my craft sheet), misting with water. Stamp sentiment. Cut
into word tiles, adhere to panel, randomly drawing boxes around each tile.
Create white splatters with diluted Gesso, flicking
onto panel.
Finally, ink edges of panel before wrapping some Gypsy
Cord around bottom edge.
Until next time,
Lynne x
