Looking Cute by Helen Chilton

I'm working on acrylic this week - always like this surface as you can get multiple layers built up.

I've started off with a little AALL&Create set and stamped in black Archival.

Then flip it over and paint on the back - you might need two layers.

When that's dry block all the painting in with a coat of white.

After that I rummaged through my stash drawer and found this odd bit of background I'd made for something else. I added a bit of script to it.

Glue the acrylic to the background, hiding the glue under the painted areas and then add highlights.

Supplies:

AALL and Create A7 Stamp Set #300 - Look Cute
That's Crafty! Clear Stamp Set - Textures Collection - Set 1
That's Crafty! Surfaces Acrylic Panel 1 - Pack of 6
Ranger Archival Ink Pads
: Jet Black
That's Crafty! Multi Surface Paints
Posca Pens
That's Crafty! 6ins x6ins Stencil - Net - TC60027
Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays

These little stamp sets are really useful and fun to work with. There's quite a range to choose from - figures, owls, backgrounds etc - and they come in at a good price. If you don't want to make your own background, use some patterned paper instead.

Hope you liked my little cutie!

Helen
