For this post I've dug out some Tim Holtz stamps that I've had for quite a while but I've always felt have been underused. I love the sketchy look of them and that they're so easy to colour.
I've just stamped onto card and then used Distress Oxide reinkers to colour them. If the oxides obscure the black lines, just dab back with a baby wipe.
For the long tag I've use the spritz and dip technique using Brolen China, Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry Oxides, I dried each layer inbetween so the colours didn't muddy.
Cut out your figures and work out how you want to layer them up.
I then decided to add some black stamping to the background. I didn't want hard edges so used the stamp without a block just stamping bits here and there.
As I was looking for ribbons I found this odd bit of corrugated card so cut it to shape and layered on the tag.
Add a few bits of ribbon and braid and there you have it.
