Blossoming Floral Card by Fliss Goodwin

Hello!
This week I have a card to share that was actually quite quick and simple to make as it made a lot of use of my pile of spray overflow sheets and scraps which I have to say is one of the best things to have if you need to make something in a hurry.

Step by Step:

I stamped my chosen flower on spray overflow scraps in shades of pink and blue - these were left from spraying with rose and bluebell flat matte sprays and lilac and aqua lustre sprays. I used my stamp positioner as I had to squeeze 3 images on my scrap and it made this much easier.

I also stamped a couple of leaves on a scrap of green painted paper from my bits box. I cut all the images out, trimming just the central element from the flower with the most blue and stamping just the centre of the flower on a tiny green scrap and cutting this out too.

I chose a piece of misted paper from my bits box which had lovely shades that tone perfectly with my flower and cut this to size to fit my chosen card blank. I distressed the edges with an emery board and tied a scrap of knotted recycled sari ribbon around it before gluing it to the card.

I layered the flower up with 3D glue and added this to the card with the leaves. I finished off with the text panel stamped on a further scrap of spray overflow paper and glued in place.

Supplies:

Scrap of toning recycled sari ribbon

Have a great weekend and see you next week with something I can't wait to share with you - it's under wraps at the moment!
