Hello!
I have a trio of bright and rather funky artist trading cards to share this week that I created for the last Hochanda shows which featured gorgeous new stamp designs from Lynne Moncrieff. I really love all the new sets as they're so versatile they come in handy for many different types of artwork.
Step by Step:
I created the backgrounds first using bubble wrap with Multi Surface Paints. I began with Light Blue and Bright Blue applied randomly to the bubble wrap surface with a spatula. I pressed each of my 3 MDF artist trading cards onto the bubble wrap to pick up the paint. I then repeated the process with Orange and Bright Red Multi Surface Paints. I pressed them on the paint further until I was happy with the effect and set them aside to dry.
I then took some Craftyboard numbers and painted them with couple of coats of Bright Red paint adding a top coat of Red Satin ink for a lovely sheen.
I used the Brick Circle Dinky stencil with Black Texture Paste to add a pattern in areas of the atcs. Once it was dry, I added some stamping with a scribbled words stamp set couple of images using black ink.
I finished off with the red numbers and some text stamped on scrap sprayed paper with black ink.
Have a great weekend and see you next week.
