My "go to product" of That's Crafty! Walnut Ink Crystals, along with their Peal Inks, created the splattery style background. I like the way that the Dina Wakley tissue paper, allows the inky blotches to appear through the face, it's almost as though she has cheeks painted in and freckles.
It's possible another of the faces will speak to me, to appear on a collage, wanting to reveal her own story that she wants to share.

Instructions
I keep walnut ink crystals, dissolved in a glass jar with screw top lid and also decanted into a spray bottle.
After applying Gesso to the paper panel, the walnut ink was sprayed.
Tiny scraps: a torn piece of walnut ink stained shipping tag, layered with a teeny fragment of walnut ink stained calico which had mandala stencilled with Texture Paste.
There is almost, always, a home for even the smallest most random of pieces.
