Tick Tock...by Helen Chilton

It's Helen here using some of the lovely new PaperArtsy Hot Pick stamp sets. I thought I'd take a long tag and make a bookmark.



I used a stamp positioner here as the stamp is so big and super detailed.


Then I got out some 13Arts Rainbow Color powders, sprinkled onto a block...


 ...and used them to paint with:


I diluted them a bit further and blotted.


Then I tried some stamping with them, inking up first with a VersaMark inkpad and sprinkling the powder straight on the stamp.


Rub the colours in, spritz and...


...there you have it:


I carried on adding other colours over the top until it looked like this:


Then I just added extra colour and highlights. If you haven't got these Jane davenport pens, just use paint and a fine brush.


Finish with the text on the back, embossing on both sides and embellishments.

  2. A lovely piece of creativity, Helen . The long tag makes for a great book mark and enjoyed seeing the various ways you used the 13Arts powders .
