Hi Everyone
This is my last post for That's Crafty! for 2018 and I have had a fabulous year sharing my art with you and I would like to bring my That's Crafty year to an end with another Christmas card using the fabulous character stamps from Katzelkraft stocked by That's Crafty! who, to my knowledge, carry the biggest range of these French stamps, in the UK.
Follow that star (trying to find a particular stable)
Here's What I Did:
I made this with the same technique I made my previous one, which you will find HERE. I first die cut the inlaid stars with a die from my stash and then created my background using Distress Oxides swooshing them on my craft mat and then picking the colour up, drying with a heat gun inbetween colours. I then edged around the card using distress inks in the same colour as I had used as the Oxides.
I stamped the donkey and the angel, both Katzelkraft stamps, and coloured with my chosen medium which was blendable coloured pencils and I then cut them out ready to add to my card. The words were also cut using dies from my stash and added to the card. All were then glued onto the background. It was finished off by adding a Tim Holtz seasonal chit chat saying. I then mounted onto Tim Holtz Kraft gold cardstock and then again onto black card.
Here's What I Used:
Distress Oxides - Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Brushed Corduroy
Distress Inks - Hickory Smoke, Brushed Corduroy
Kazelkraft A5 Stamp Sets - Les Pabos - Sherlock Holmes KTZ211 & La Ferme des Animaux
Both of these are currently out of stock but these will all be back in stock tomorrow! There will also be some new additions to the Katzelkraft range stocked by That's Crafty!
Paper Stumps
Selection of dies from my stash
I just want to say thank you for your lovely comments throughout the year and have a lovely Christmas and New year, I hope you get lots of crafty goodies from Santa, and I will be back with some new art Tuesday January 8th 2019
Until then Enjoy!
Love

Such a fun card Amanda, love the background too! x
ReplyDeleteHah! What a brilliant turnaround - from the sneak peek of that masterly sky, beautifully done - to a brilliant laugh out loud as you see who is following that gleaming star. I wish them both luck on the journey! Great card.
