Enter If You Dare! By Helen Pigott

Hello!
Today I have made a little something to put
on your front door on Halloween.

I have lots of photographs for you today as this
project is full layers. I have taken a photo of
each layer so that you can play along too.

What I did:

I started by covering the door hanger with paint using a brayer.

 Stencil 1
One of the great things about using That's Crafty!
Mini & Dinky Stencils is that they are so reasonably
priced that making a project with lots of layers
doesn't break the bank.

 Stencil 2

 Stencil 3 & 4

 White paint with a brayer.

 Fresco 'Twilight' with a brayer.

More white paint on top of the Twilight turning it light blue.

 Stencil 5

 Idea-ology rub ons, 'Gothic' #TH93308

 Idea-ology Ephemera Pack #TH93713

Oddment of black lace (knicker lace would work well :D)

 DecoArt Crackle Paste

 Paint crackle paste, 'Dina's 'Ruby'

Then a coat of That's Crafty! black paint.
Then use your finger to lightly rub over with silver paint
or gilding wax.

Add some Halloween Ephemera.

Add Glossy Accents for some spooky eyes!

Hang on your door and wait!

What I used:

I'm off to play with more knicker lace now, see you soon!
