Hi!
It´s Melina here today sharing another page in my A6 sized white/greyboard journal.
Today I have used the Doodled Shrooms as my focal point.
Here´s what I did:
I start with a piece of gelli printed paper that I already had cleaned off a couple of
That´s Crafty! stencils on. When I use stencils with sprays, I like to use the spray that´s left on the stencils by cleaning them in my art journals. In that way I always have a background started.
I glue the piece of paper down on a That´s Crafty! A6 white/greyboard page.
I randomly add pieces of book paper and another piece of gelli printed paper.
I apply Distress Crayons in brown and grey here and there on the page, blending them with my finger. I use a baby whipe to remove some of it again through a stencil.
I stamp a couple of mushrooms from the Doodled Shrooms stamp set. I use the Distress Crayons
as watercolours to colour the shrooms. I just put them down on an acrylic block and pick them up with a waterbrush. I cut them out and adhere to the page. I make some marks with a pencil and add a quote and my page is done.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Hope you´ll have a lovely week!
xx Melina

I'm so glad you did not waste all that lovely colour from your stencils they make such pretty backgrounds. It's as if your doodled shrooms were made for this journal page as the colours you have picked match perfectly. Beautiful..
