Hi Everyone
A bit of a fun card for you today inking up for the first time this wonderful parrot stamp from KatzelKraft.
Here's What I Did:
This is quite a simple one from me this week and is a great technique for a quick background and in turn a quick card. I used the 'Life' stencil and randomly patted 4 colours of Distress Oxide onto the stencil (make sure the stencil is the right way round if there are words on it). Lightly mist the stencil with water and then lay it, ink side down onto your card. Lay kitchen paper over the stencil to pick up any water seepage and lift the stencil to reveal your print.
I then stamped my image and coloured it, I have coloured the image with coloured pencils but use a medium of your choice. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz and his snarky range of Chit Chat Stickers.
I then, to finish off, drew wrong the edge of the card to add a scribbly border. Mounted onto black card using That's Crafty! craft glue and then added to a 7" x 5" card blank.
