Hi everyone,
It's Donna here today with a card featuring the lovely Cara :)
What I Did:
From my rapidly decreasing pile of Gelli prints I selected this print for the background. It was made using Decoart Media Fluid paints and cut out circles to make the textures. This is the really good thing about a mammoth Gelli printing session as you should have enough of a pile of printed papers to be used for a lot of different projects.
Cara and the flowers ( which are from the Quirky Girl's Beki set) were stamped on to a sheet of Strathmore Mixed Media paper and coloured in with a selection of Mermaid Markers which were diluted with a water brush.
They were then all fussy cut out and adhered directly onto the Gelli print background.
I then mounted it onto black card and then white card at which point I added the finishing touches of the Ric Rac and Pom Pom fabric and selected a Tim Holtz sentiment to fit the card.
Well who wouldn't be happy with rosy red cheeks surrounded by lovely flowers?!
