Happy Thursday everyone.
I'm back today with my first That's Crafty! Thursday blog post of the year.
Today I'm sharing a panel piece I created as a sample last month
featuring one of the latest texture stamps sets.
Here is my Monochrome Panel How to Do's..
Painting the panel piece in black gesso, I dry brushed streaks of white gesso on top before the black could dry. Script from the Textures Set 3 was stamped and embossed in white along with the lace border stamp at the top and bottom of the panel.
The flowers have been stamped, embossed and cut out. Spritzing with water
I scrunched each flower up to add age and edged with Black Soot Distress Ink.
Bunching the flowers and leaves together they were adhered onto the panel
using glue gel with flat back gems and curled wire added for decoration.
Ribbon stamped with a sentiment from Lynne's Affirmations Set 6
has been sewn onto the panel with a little vintage button to finish it all off.
A piece of lace threaded through holes acts as a hanger.
My Monochrome panel piece is complete.
I love this stamp set not only because of its beautiful designs but because
of it's versatility.. A timeless set that will be used again and again.
Thank you for sharing your time
I look forward to sharing more of mine with you
same time next Thursday.
