Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today with a card using one of the new Infusions powders which are great
for quick watercolour effects.
What to do:
Use
a sheet of Strathmore Mixed Media Paper and sprinkle on a little amount of
Infusions, I used the new Green Man one for this, and spritz with water. Now at
this stage, it really depends on what effect you want but leaving for longer
before blotting with kitchen roll or heat drying will mean more of the brown
Bister crystals will develop for a grungier look.
Once
that is dry, stamp a flower image on the background, the one I used is a
Carabelle one from my stash but Tim’s wildflowers set would work just as well,
use Archival ink in Potting soil for it.
For
the jar I hand carved a little stamp from Speedycarve but once again if you
have a jar/bottle type stamp then you can use that. I carved this one large enough
so I could cut the middle out of it if I wanted to and it was easier to fussy
cut out as a whole image too.
Stamp
the bottle image with black Archival, cut out, adhere a little twine around the
top and then pop a little glue on the back of it and place over the flower
image.
Add
one of Tim’s new Clipping Stickers, mount on black card
and then white cardstock for a simple yet striking card.
Supplies Used:
Substitute
Tim Holtz – Wildflowers Set for Carabelle one
Hope
you like it
