Hi
there, I have a card to share this week, my first in an absolute age, which I
was in need of to cheer someone up at a rather difficult time. A favourite
PaperArtsy stamp set was the order of the day as the flowers in the set are so
cheery and just what I needed.
Ingredients:
Button
White
Square Card Blank
Old
Credit Card or Store Card
Recipe:
Cut
a piece of mixed media paper to fit your chosen card blank. I then applied
green and yellow paints to the paper by swiping them on with the old credit
card. You don’t need to be precise with
this as grungy is good!
Next
add a pattern to the top left of the painted paper with the stencil and a
darker green shade of paint.
Stamp
part of the leaf sprig on the left hand side of the paper with the fern ink and
paint deep green. Colour a scrap of mixed media paper with orange paint and
stamp on the pointy flower. Cut out when dry.
Assemble
the card by gluing the painted paper to the card blank. Add the flower with
foam tape and glue on a pretty button. Finish off with some big chat stickers.
We
have a great new challenge today over at That’s Crafty! Challenge Blog so don’t
forget to check it out at 8am – you have to be in it to win it!
Have
a lovely weekend and see you next week.
