Hi Everyone,
Alison here today, with a simple,
stencilled MDF ATC.
Here's what I used...
That's Crafty! Dinky Stencils - TC001 Brick Repeat
Background, TC012 Quatrefoil 2 Background, TC027 Flight of Butterflies
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paint - Space Cadet,
Antarctic, Cherry Red, Little Black Dress
Instructions...
1. Paint a base coat of Space Cadet on the front of
the MDF ATC, dry with a heat gun, then paint a thin layer of Crackle Glaze on
top. Gently dry the Crackle Glaze, moving the heat gun around so that it
doesn't bubble, then quickly paint a thickish layer Antarctic over the top.
Once the cracks start to appear, you can use the heat gun to speed things up,
or you can let it dry naturally.
2. Use Space Cadet to stencil the Quatrefoil
background in opposite corners, Cherry Red for the Brick Repeat on the other
two corners, then Little Black Dress for the Flight of Butterflies.
3. Stamp the phrase with the Jet Black ink, then
use the ink pad to ink the edges of the ATC to finish.
I hope you like the layers of paint and stencilling
on this simple ATC. Blue and red are one of my favourite colour combinations.
Until next week,
