Serenity by Moira Sutton

8x8 Card Blank
Dylusions – Further Round the Edge Stamp Set
Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magicals – Ramblin Rose Pink, Hibiscus Rose, Hydrangea Blue, Luscious Lime, Pineapple Paradise, Pop Rock Purple, Mango Mania and Caribbean Blue
The Crafters Workshop Art Is Stencil
Prima Art Ingredients Glass Beads – Zinc, Butter, Plum, Rust and Turquoise

I sprayed the Bling y Blonde and Bonjoir Butter Lindys sprays on my card base and dried with a heat gun. I then went over with the modelling paste through the Art Is stencil and left to air dry. I then stamped around the edge with one of the Dylusions stamps and sprinkled a few flakes of the Mango Mania Magical around the stencilling, spritzed and dried with a heat gun.
On separate stamping card I stamped the face from Feminine face and then the flower from “The Look” 18 times (although I only used 17 in the end). I coloured the face with a combination of watercolour pencil, pencils and water soluble pastels. I cut around the face leaving a wide margin around where her “hair” should be. I hand cut the flowers which was not nearly as bad as I expected as they are an easy shape to follow, and coloured using a damp brush and the various Magicals. I shaped the petals a little using an embossing tool and mat. Then attached them to the face as “hair” with 3d glue to keep some movement.
Finally I added my face to the card blank, a few glass beads among the flowers because my addiction to them forced me to and added the word.
