Mini Art by Debs Wainwright

Morning everyone, Debs here today to share a pair of canvasses, which are only 4"x4" in size.

 Here's what I did

Using heavy bodied acrylic and texture tools I covered both canvasses using complementary colours. Once dry I added some more colour to make it pop.

The focal point of the canvasses were representational Daisy's, one quarter, on each canvas. Doodles were added in white.

I added more texture using a stencil and crackle paste in copper across both canvasses.

and for the Sentiment I mixed thickening powder mixed with a black texture paste and stencils. The powder stiffened the paste which a gave a sharp edge to the words.

What I used

Canvasses from my stash

I'm enjoying working on smaller art pieces, as I find I have to use more planning which is a challenge for me. But that's what is all about challenging ourselves. More from me next week
