A Grumpy Birthday Card by Fliss Goodwin

Hi there, I have a clean and simple birthday card to share this week that I actually made for my eldest nephew. I always find cards for young men quite difficult so I decided on something a little jokey this time.

Ingredients:

Katzelkraft Unmounted Rubber Stamp – Les Pingouins Grumpy

Tim Holtz Cling Mounted Stamp Sets – Crazy Things, Crazy Thoughts

Archival Jet Black Ink

White Square Card Blank (or make your own)

Coloured Pencils 

Recipe:

Stamp the penguins near the base of the card with the black ink. Stamp the balloon string next to the smallest penguin and stamp a balloon on top. You’ll see it looks as if he’s holding the balloon.

Colour the balloon and the penguins with the coloured pencils. I looked the penguins up on the internet to check the colour of these little guys and was glad I did as they have some very bright plumage on their heads.

Stamp the text above the penguins to finish.

There you have it, short and sweet! Perfect for a quick card and someone who doesn’t appreciate fussy.
