Hello!
This week I have a duo of cards to share that are perfect if you need a quick crafting fix as they're very easy to put together with some paper (mine were leftover scraps) and some silhouette stamping.
Step by Step:
I had a rummage through my box of paper scraps to find some that would suit my planned project and happily found some pieces from the Perfect Backgrounds Sets designed by Amanda Southern for That's Crafty! and the shades of yellow and orange were indeed perfect.
I trimmed a couple of pieces to fit my chosen 7 x 5 card blanks and then set about stamping on them. I masked off a section at the bottom and then stamped on a variety of the wildflower images designed by Lynne Moncrieff.
To create the cards, I made a faux stitching effect round the edges of both panels and then glued them to a double mat, starting with black and following with a toning colour.
I cut a black strip to fit across the bottom of the flowers on the panels (this is why I didn't cover the whole background). I then cut a smaller white card strip to fit the black one and stamped on my chosen sentiments. Before gluing in place, I added more faux stitching top and bottom.
Supplies:

Have a great weekend and see you next week.
