Tissue paper part 2


This time I'm layering the tissue paper onto a patterned background.
Here's the sheet from last week.


This panel is from an old gelli print using paints and stencils. The main stencil is this one.


I then tore out the images to fit the tag. The beauty of thin tissue paper is that you can reverse the images if you want like the top right hand bird.


Use acrylic wax to stick them on.


I then stamped some of the flowers that I used in the background in Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio Oxides.


Trim it all up and add text from the same stamp set.


 

I love the way the background shows through the tissue paper. The acrylic wax makes the colours really pop.
