Hello!
I've been working in my new journal this week and decided to go with my favourite time of year, Autumn when the leaves take on their beautiful warm shades before they fall.
Step by Step:
My first step was to mist my pages with Flat Matte Sprays in autumn shades - I used Redwood, Walnut, Sage, Blackberry and Saffron.
I then did some stamping with one of Lynne's beautiful silhouette leaf images which I stamped with Distress Oxide inks using Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge and Aged Mahogany.
I then created some additional elements using some of my ink spray overflow sheets and leftover bits and pieces.
Using some circle dies as a guide, I tore some circle shapes in various out of my papers to use on my pages, choosing some good contrasts. On one of the circles I stamped my favourite autumn text and inked the edges darker with the same ink pad.
I then took a variety of leaves and some mushrooms from my little supply of stamped images (handy for crafting in a hurry) and added these to the pages to finish.
Supplies:
Have a great weekend and see you next week.
