Cardinal Red by Helen Chilton

Here's one of the samples I made for the Christmas shows last week - unfortunately they didn't arrive in time! Never mind! This uses the same bird and base as last week's project. I've painted in white, crackle glazed and over painted in blue and green on three panels.

Using the Christmas stamps and VersaFine Clair ink pads, I've stamped a bit of the pine needles branch in green and then a portion of the large snowflake in red. The bauble and text were stamped, coloured and cut out separately.

The right hand panel is created in the same way, just mirror image.

The central panel has blue snowflakes in the background as well. I love that red cardinal.

And there you have it, a Christmas project this time - quite quick and easy but could be used for a card or as a decoration.
