Respect by Lynne Moncrieff

 Hello

Words often make an appearance and I will tend to know what words I want to use as I work on a project but as I was nearing the completion of this and yet no decision made on a word until I picked up the That's Crafty! Lots of Words stamp set and my eyes settled upon the word Respect.

Supplies

Instructions

Onto the paper, spraying the Redwood Flat Matte Spray, allowing to settle into the paper and once dry, with a palette knife, applying a mixture of white gesso and Texture Paste and just before this is dry, applying small areas of walnut ink (dissolving the Walnut Ink Powder with water in a jar and applying with a soft brush). Adhere to the MDF panel.

Onto another piece of paper, apply Gesso first before applying a very diluted wash of Walnut Ink and then small areas of the Pearl Inks, misting with water.

Tear a length from this paper and adhere horizontally to the main panel.

Using a Craftyboard circle as a guide, trace around the circle and cut out a piece from the prepared paper. Onto this, stamp bird on branch

before adhering to the circle and onto the panel, trapping a feather behind the circle.

Stamp smallest circle from Nature's Gatherings, place above feather.

Onto another scrap piece of paper stamp the word Respect and layer onto dried leaf.

Thank you for your visit today.

Wishes

Lynne
