Hello
With the That's Crafty! Eco Dyed Botanicals Paper Pack, it was about playing around with the papers, manipulating the papers to some extent, yet retaining the design. The outline of the leaf on this particular paper called out for me to stitch around the leaf.

Instructions
Tracing the MDF round onto one of the Eco Dyed Botanicals papers, it was then cut out. Then, with a needle, continually piercing holes around the leaf pattern. By piercing the holes first it not only makes stitching into the paper easier but reduces the chances of the paper tearing when sewing. Once the sewing completed, adhering to the MDF Round.
Onto scrap paper, the smallest circle from Nature's Gatherings, stamped three times. One of the circles simply layered to scrap paper pieces.
Moments, from the ATCoins stamp set, stamped onto scrap cardstock and layered with stained papers which were coated with Acrylic Liquid Wax, bringing another textural element to the collage.
Final touches,
inking up the grungy dots on the small Scribbled Words circle stamp. Also, dry brushing Interference Gold paint onto selected areas of the leaf.
Thank you for your visit.
Wishes
Lynne
