Days in the Meadow by Helen Chilton

Alcohol inks, toadstools and grasses this week!

I've dropped alcohol inks onto glossy cardstock and moved them around with Blending Solution. You've got plenty of colours to choose from - Ranger or Kielty.

Then I stamped some of Lynne's Dried Botanicals sets 1 and 2 in VersaFine Clair - Purple Delight, Shady Lane, Verdant and Paradise.

I then stamped the toadstools and coloured them with Distress ink pads and added highlights in white.

Layer up and stamp over some grasses/leaves in black to integrate them into the background.

I love the shape of these toadstools - they're beautifully drawn and very versatile. You can shorten them (as with the blue ones) simply by cutting the stem.

Hope you've enjoyed this project.
